Inspired by the legendary film, Dirty dancing, this play on words "I carried a watermelon" is depicted in this vintage style art print.
The original vintage photograph dating from the early 1900's was hand embroidered to shown the lady carrying a watermelon as you would a baby.
A fun, cheeky, tongue in cheek, play on words for the 80's film fan.

The original hand embroidered photograph has been professionally photographed and professionally giclee printed to produce this fine art print.

One of my favourite things is to hunt out beautiful, but discarded vintage photos and give them a new lease of life. I love designing, then adding, hand embroidered embellishments to give them a fun, whimsical update. I then have these pieces professionally turned into fine art giclee prints.
