Description

Stoneware mug with octopus motive on the outside. A very beautiful deep dark blue...

All my mugs and cups are hand-built using a slow and careful coiling technique, and hand-decorated, making all mugs and cups one of a kind.

Done by the method of scraffitto - (making a drawing by cutting into the unfired slip surface), and with the blue octopus, by hand-painting it with black slip paint. The cup has been fired 3 times - the last time after having real 24 carat gold applied and fired on.

Need to know

Holds approximately 400ml

Please note that because of the gold, the mugs cannot be used in the microwave, but can go in the dishwasher, although it might dull the gold after several washes.
