A bold letterpress print of the phrase 'Look after the forest and the forest will look after you,' inspired by vintage typography and forest conservation. Growing up in a national park in NZ, with a botanist-father active in forest conservation, this print is from the heart.
Composed with a Day and Collins manufactured Helvetica-style square sans dating from the 1880’s, sourced from Bournemouth though apparently originally of the Lion Press, Southwark. An image from a vintage copper-electro advertisement of a similar aged ‘Kent-Axe’ by Martindale of Birmingham adorns the poster.
This print is a reminder of the importance of forest conservation and a beautiful addition to any nature lover’s home.
