Credentials

Madini is a pendant-style ceiling lampshade made ethically in rural Kenya by members of the Kamba tribe cooperative. Beautifully handwoven in sisal grass, an organic material indigenous to Eastern Africa, this woven light shade brings tribal-inspired designs and Kenyan charm to ethical interiors. It screws into place to create a semi-permanent fixture and works perfectly with LED bulbs.
African lampshades like Madini work elegantly in dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, and contemporary office spaces. You can use this pendant light shade to illuminate every corner of the home, safe in the knowledge that it is sustainable, ethical, and supportive of those who make it.
