Description

This handmade linocut print is loosely based off the Milkweed flower, transformed into a symetrical design. This piece is printed by hand onto smooth off-white premium art paper in a limited edition of 10 A4 prints...

This handmade linocut print is loosely based off the Milkweed flower, transformed into a symetrical design. This piece is printed by hand onto smooth off-white premium art paper in a limited edition of 10 A4 prints.

The design is carved using small tools into a sheet of lino, which then has ink rolled onto the surface and a piece of paper pressed on top to transfer the ink. The process is slow and methodical, require careful movements and plenty of patience.
