'Zennor' is a handmade linocut relief print depicting a rural village nestled on the north coast of Cornwall. Between St Ives and Land's End, on one of the most beautiful roads in the UK, is a small village called Zennor. With stunning views, an ancient church and a legend of a mermaid. What more do you need?

This is a limited edition of 30 prints, made using one hand-carved rubber block. The design uses two colours of ink (pale blue and black), which are applied to different parts of the image. I design and print these artworks entirely by hand, with only a small printing press to give me some assistance!

Need to know

Linocut printmaking is a slow, traditional printmaking process, where the artist creates a printing 'block' by carving into a piece of linoleum using sharp carving tools. Ink is then rolled onto the block, and the paper is pressed on top to transfer the ink. Creating an artwork with multiple colours often requires the use of multiple lino blocks, aligning the paper carefully each time a new layer of colour is added.

Shipped flat in a secure card-backed envelope.

Due to the hand printing process, each print is a unique item so slight variations may occur. These are not flaws. As a handmade product it is never an identical replica of the product pictured.
