The Mother Hen card could be given to your mum for Mother's Day, perhaps. But she could also be posted to those plucky mother hen friends and family that we cherish. Or maybe just sent to someone who loves chickens too...
The Mother Hen card could be given to your mum for Mother's Day, perhaps. But she could also be posted to those plucky mother hen friends and family that we cherish. Or maybe just sent to someone who loves chickens too.
The card is left blank inside to fill with your words of appreciation and kindness.
The artwork on the card is a digital print of a piece I have collaged from layers of hand-painted paper with details drawn on top in watercolour pencil. While the original illustration is textured, the card has a smooth finish. There is a smaller version of the hen illustration printed on the back of the card with 'Mother Hen' emblazoned in colourful lettering.
The greetings card is printed in Gloucestershire on 300gsm, 100% recycled card.
The card is 148mm (h) x 105mm (w) when folded.
It comes with a 100% recycled Kraft Brown envelope.
It is packaged in a compostable film sleeve which is made in the U.K.

I am an artist and illustrator based in West Cornwall. I work in watercolour, gouache and pencil and I collage layers of hand painted paper to create textured illustrations. These are then digitally printed to make colourful, and mostly food inspired, greetings cards. I love to paint the seasonal ingredients on my kitchen table, as well as animals and flowers, and turn them into cards for you to fill with words of love.
