This card depicts a birthday cake for the winter months, when oranges from warmer climes bring zesty brightness to the darker time of year. The Orange Upside Down Cake card is ideal for wintery birthdays.
It is a card to send to someone you would like to bake this cake for and then watch them blow out all the candles. The card also has a little illustration on the back of a blood orange with jaunty leaves.
This artwork on the card is a digital print of a piece collaged by Harriet-Jade from layers of hand painted paper with details drawn on top in watercolour pencil. While the original illustration is textured, the card has a smooth finish.
The card is left blank inside, ready to be filled with your birthday wishes.
The greetings card is printed in Gloucestershire on 300gsm, 100% recycled card.
It is 105mm (h) x 148 mm (w) when folded.
It comes with a 100% recycled Kraft Brown envelope.
It is packaged in a compostable film sleeve which is made in the U.K.

I am an artist and illustrator based in West Cornwall. I work in watercolour, gouache and pencil and I collage layers of hand painted paper to create textured illustrations. These are then digitally printed to make colourful, and mostly food inspired, greetings cards. I love to paint the seasonal ingredients on my kitchen table, as well as animals and flowers, and turn them into cards for you to fill with words of love.
