For me, watching a curled up, smiling cat brings such comfort!...

For me, watching a curled up, smiling cat brings such comfort!
I have created these sleeping cat brooches so that you can bring a bit of this snuggly feeling wherever you go! They also make the perfect gifts for cat lovers!

Every one has been individually sculpted by hand using the process of needle-felting. They have been signed on the reverse to show that this is a unique work of art. They come in a variety of colours and you can even request a custom colour!

If you would prefer to leave your tiny cat at home, they are also available inside miniature glass domes!
This is optional and does not need to be selected from the drop down list.

Please note the pricing varies between cats of one colour, tabby's and calico's due to the time each takes to produce.
Every cat is made individually so no two are exactly identical.
If you would like to replicate a particular cat, Custom Sleeping Cats are available in another listing.

Need to know

Each one measures approximately 6 x 5 x 3 cm
Made through the process of needle felting using a variety of wools sourced within the UK.
Made by the artist Laura Cronin, AKA Bumble & Earwig.
Each is signed on a piece of textile on the reverse.
Comes within a round box, perfect to snuggle up in!
Packaging materials are recyclable.

These artworks are inspired by antique taxidermy, museum collections, scientific illustrations, and of course David Attenborough documentaries!

Every piece is painstakingly handmade, using a barbed needle to prod at wool roving thousands of times! It’s more fun than it may sound, but it does require a lot of time and patience!
