Piece of Cake Plate
The idiom first appeared in print in 1936 from the American poet Ogden Nash, who wrote "Her picture's in the papers now, And life's a piece of cake." Another usage is from the Royal Airforce in the late 1930s to suggest an easy flying mission.
Each plate is unique due to the nature of hand making and the unpredictability of the kiln firing. They are sturdy, functional and dishwasher proof. They sometimes display characteristic minor imperfections.
