The bowl is hand thrown on my potter's wheel then trimmed and altered to add the heart, birds and bird prints before drying and firing in the kiln. The bowl is then hand painted with red hearts inside before glazing with pink translucent and clear glaze and then fired once more.
Great size for cereal, pasta or salad. A wonderful gift for an bird lover.

Each bowl may vary slightly from the photographs due to their hand made nature and differences.

Hello, I'm Lucy, the face behind lucyandjaneceramics.
I design and make whimsical pottery in my garden studio including tableware, decor and sculpture. My inspiration comes from the world around me, from the flowers in the garden to little creatures that inhabit the green space. A ball of clay is where it all begins, meaning my items have a hand produced quality that can't be found with mass produced ceramics. My aim is to make customers smile with each quirky detail.
