The Pollination Wrap blanket is perfect for throwing around your shoulders for an evening walk, or you may choose to use it as a small sofa throw or table cloth.

The summer garden, overflowing with colour and scent, full of flowers designed to attract insect visitors. The alliance between insects and plants is as old as the first flowering plants, some 130 million years ago. This blanket celebrates the ancient relationship between insects and plants, co-evolved to survive and thrive.

In a soft antique rose base with subtle coloured flowers and insects, the reverse is a soft blue green.

Luxurious, practical and sustainable, this 75% recycled cotton finely woven blanket is machine washable.

PRESENTATION: Every blanket comes tied with recycled cotton ribbon, and with a beautifully printed Nature Connection Guide that tells you more about the species featured.

SIZE: 137cm x 101cm (54”x40”). The exact dimensions of each design might vary slightly from the above, due to the difference in the density of weave of different colours.

USE: This size works wonderfully as a shoulder wrap, chair or table throw, or for your wild wanders, light enough to carry anywhere. Arcana blankets are highly versatile. They can be used as a decorative throw, as tapestry art hung as the wall, or even as a picnic blanket. As they are machine washable, you can be confident you can keep them looking glorious for years to come. And because they are so finely woven, they are also reversible, showing the design in different complementary colours on the back.

CARE: You can hand wash or machine wash the blanket in cold water on a delicate cycle using a mild detergent, so you don’t need to worry about loving it and taking it everywhere. Do not bleach. Line dry or machine dry on cool cycle only.

SUSTAINABLE: Made in small batches from recycled cotton, which requires significantly less water and produces less carbon dioxide than virgin cotton.

ETHICAL PRODUCTION: Woven using the best sustainable and ethical practices on Jacquard Looms, by highly skilled weavers in a small family business in the foothills of North Carolina.

NATURE-CONNECTED ART: Art that tells a true natural world story to will drive curiosity and connection, carefully researched by us, as an artist and an ecologist.

Welcome, I am Ria. My passion for nature has always been my artistic fuel, leading me to found Arcana in 2022, with a mission to deepen our connection to nature through art. With previous careers in science and photography, I knew I wanted to create art with a story, one that encouraged a personal connection to nature in the everyday. This is Arcana: a marriage of art and natural history, woven into heirloom textiles for you to treasure and transform your home.
