Description

TASTING NOTES: Turkish delight, musk, mango

Our fresh, fragrant and deep pink damask rose petals are sourced from a small family-run farm that practices natural farming in the state of Tamil Nadu. India. The roses are grown regeneratively, without pesticides, in a rich ecosystem alongside a collection of tropical fruit trees. The petals are perfectly sun dried which helps retain their colour and lock in their delicate flavour.

Roses has for centuries been a symbol of love, but this great flower (especially the damask variety) also has a long culinary history as a flavouring in a wide range of dishes and desserts. Adding one or two petals to warm water makes a heavenly infusion with the most alluring "English rose" fragrance. Try adding a petal or two to a glass of iced tea for a heady high summer drink.

The natural fragrance and flavour of these beautiful petals easily outshines any synthetic flavouring.

Harvested May 2023. Naturally caffeine free

Karma Tea Co.

camden, London

Karma Tea Co. was born in 2019 in London, UK with our founder Alison. A tea lover with a dream of making it easier for people to drink good tea, while doing good for themselves, others and the planet. Inspired by the Sanskrit कमर्म word karma, meaning “action”, we believe that what you put out in terms of your actions—good and bad—comes back to you, which is why we exist to make tea good with our range of speciality, loose whole leaf teas. Existing in an industry where the local environment and communities are routinely sacrificed for profit, with unsustainable and unethical practices, at Karma Tea Co. we believe in order to be good, you have to do good. Today, this karmic philosophy is the life force that continues to drive everything we do, from how we source our teas, to how we work with growers and the packaging we use.
