This playful framed collage celebrates the wonderfully colourful world of sardine tins - finally giving these tiny design icons the spotlight they deserve.
Featuring ten beautifully illustrated tinned fish packages, each element is carefully printed, hand-cut and individually mounted onto luxurious Italian Hammered Tintoretto Gesso paper, before being signed by the artist. The result is a vibrant little collection that’s almost good enough to eat. Every collage is lovingly assembled by hand in my studio, meaning no two are ever exactly the same. You may notice small variations between pieces - these charming quirks are all part of the process and make each artwork completely unique.
