The bowl is hand thrown on my potter's wheel then trimmed and altered to add the owl and bird prints before drying and firing in the kiln. The bowl is then hand painted with grey spots inside and grey stripes outside before glazing and the final firing.
Great size for small pudding, ice cream bowl or sugar bowl. a wonderful gift for an owl lover.
Height 7cm approximately

Hello, I'm Lucy, the face behind lucyandjaneceramics.
I design and make whimsical pottery in my garden studio including tableware, decor and sculpture. My inspiration comes from the world around me, from the flowers in the garden to little creatures that inhabit the green space. A ball of clay is where it all begins, meaning my items have a hand produced quality that can't be found with mass produced ceramics. My aim is to make customers smile with each quirky detail.
