One of the most alluring wild animals found in Britain, this mixed media startled hare peeping through the wild flowers, is created using a wide range of salvaged materials from salvaged Harris tweed scraps to old encyclopaedia pages.
Primarily made from corrugated card she is embellished with paper and fabric collected from end of season sample books, recycled buttons, and completed with the addition of both machine and hand embroidered highlights.
This unusual marrying of materials highlights the value of the stuff we throw away. The process is often called 'creative reuse' and aims to reduce the vast quantity of valuable resources bound for landfill by giving them a second life. This approach not only enhances your living space but also supports sustainable practices, ensuring that both your home and the environment remain vibrant and healthy.
Add a healthy country feel to your home decor and enjoy the beauty of the natural world.
