Strength, courage, tenacity; how often do we repeat such words in our heads whilst trying to manifest their meanings as we go about our day? What if you could have a physical reminder to help you find that missing motivation?

Each of these rings is handmade from recycled sterling silver, and hand-stamped with the words of your choice.

Wear them individually, stack them as a collection or discreetly slip them in amongst your existing rings - you can have whichever word you need, and pick the message that matters most.

Whether you choose to keep them as a survival tool for yourself or give them as a gift, they are a simple but effective way to visualise the expressions that we really want to focus on.

These rings are sold individually, and are each handmade from sterling silver rectangular wire that measures 3mm wide by 1mm thick, with a soft brushed finish which gives them a subtle sheen and helps the words stand out.

Each one is custom made to order and can be stamped with any word of your choosing, up to 15 characters (including spaces).

Letters are 1.5mm high and in a simple uppercase font, with the numbers 0-9 and an ampersand (&) symbol also available. Please enter the word/s you wish to have stamped on the ring, with the exact spelling as you wish it to appear, in the 'customisation' boxes.

The rings are available in standard UK letter sizes (for example J through to T); please specify the size required in the customisation box.

Please be aware that with smaller sizes it may not be possible to view the entire word without it wrapping slightly around the curve.

They can be worn individually, stacked as a set or worn alongside your existing rings - I do recommend that if you intend to wear more than two, that you go up one size from your regular ring size. This will allow for a more comfortable fit as multiple rings worn together will naturally feel much tighter around the finger than than a single ring will.

Each ring is individually handmade to order, so please allow a lead time of up to four days (plus delivery) - this may need to be increased during busier times of the year (such as Christmas). Please be reassured you will be contacted directly if there is likely to be any extension to this for any reason.

First Class Tracked 24 Delivery is included as standard with an optional upgrade to Special Delivery available if required.

ABOUT THE PACKAGING & SHIPPING

The rings will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied hessian/cotton fabric bag and sent in recyclable cardboard mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate - this is so that they can be posted through a standard letterbox with ease.

If you would prefer a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box, then the option to upgrade to one is available as an 'add-on extra'.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service, with an optional upgrade to Special Delivery available for an additional charge at checkout if required.

If the item is a gift and you wish it to be sent direct to the recipient, then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.

Any upgrades in postage chosen will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority and more accurate tracking within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.

ABOUT THE JEWELLERY & MATERIALS I USE

I mainly work with fine silver, 925 sterling silver and 935 and 940 Argentium sterling silver. The latter is a fairly new alloy which is stronger, brighter, and whiter than traditional sterling and is more tarnish resistant.

Argentium is also hypoallergenic, making it great for those who have an allergy to traditional sterling silver. I also use copper and brass in my work and often combine it with silver to create more striking mixed-metal designs.

HALLMARKING

In accordance with British law, all silver items over 7.78 grams will be hallmarked by The London Assay Office, complete with my maker’s mark ‘KAT’. The exact Hallmarking stamp for metal type will be governed by the lowest classification grade of silver in a piece, which in the majority of cases for my work will be 925 sterling silver.

Items under 7.78 grams in weight are not required to be hallmarked by law, but any description will always accurately state the exact composition of metals used. For more information please see the London Assay Office Dealer’s Notice on their own website.

PRODUCT IMAGES

Every item I make is handcrafted by me to my own designs. Due to the nature of the materials and techniques used, some pieces are unique and 'one of a kind', especially when featuring sea glass or other natural materials. If an item is described as such, then the pictures you see will be of the exact item that will be received by a customer.

If I do create a design that can be accurately reproduced then I may make more than one at a time. This means the same images may be used on repeat listings, where due to the nature of handmade jewellery manufacturing methods there may be some very slight differences or variations between the item shown in photographs and the actual one received.

I will only do so if these variations are absolutely minimal, and in all cases you are always welcome to request more information or images for any item I have for sale before making a purchase.

CARE RECOMMENDATIONS

All the jewellery I sell is handmade and as such requires special treatment to ensure its longevity. Aftercare advice on how to best take care of your jewellery is provided in a leaflet and included with all orders.

Please take care to protect it from contact with such things as perfumes, hair sprays, moisturisers and cleaning fluids etc which may contain ingredients that can tarnish or otherwise affect the materials from which it is made. Bleach products in particular can very quickly tarnish silver metals, as can the chemicals in swimming pools and hot tubs.

Sea glass is somewhat toughened by the tumbling process it has undergone, but ultimately it is still glass and needs to be treated appropriately. In the event that it should become marked or scratched on the surface, a gentle cleaning with either a baby wipe or a soft brush (such as a toothbrush) and some soapy water should help fix this.
