"These ARE the Good Days" is apparently a phrase you should think/say and will make you happier, or so says the genius Hannah Fry. I saw Hannah talk about it on her instagram and it really resonated with me, stop wishing your life away, planning the next thing or waiting for perfect. "These are the Good Days" is so true and I think it often. A sunny day laughing with my children or lighting a fire and snuggling down in winter to watch a movie, those really are the happy moments in life.
These first edition screen prints are mainly one of one or very small editions (five - ten prints) while I play with colour combos and compositions. A few inky splatters and small imperfections as I layer up the inks but I always feel this is part of buying a screen print, an original piece of art made by hand.
