Floriography, also known as the language of flowers, is the practice of attributing meanings and symbolism to flowers and has been recorded in traditional cultures around the world for thousands of years.

Our medal charms are made with real flowers in sterling silver, using the traditional technique of lost wax casting. Every piece arrives gift wrapped with our seasonal scented box posy, and a Victorian puzzle purse holds cards explaining the meanings behind the flowers. The story will be there when it’s opened.

Originally seen in late-19th-century jewellery, the satellite chain is a simple cable chain dotted with tiny, evenly spaced beads ~ a design once used on delicate lorgnette and pendant chains. Its gently patterned spacing adds a soft rhythm along the length of the chain, offering a little texture without overwhelming a charm. A style that resurfaced through the 1920s and again in the 1970s, it’s become a modern favourite for its understated detail and the way it gives even the smallest pendant a sense of place.
