Every love story deserves something a little unexpected….
Lovingly hand crafted in my studio on the Isle of Wight, this stripy loving lobster wears his heart on his sleeve ( well, in his claws) making him the perfect gift this Valentines Day. Not only is he the most stylish of lobsters with his striped t shirt and perfectly trimmed moustache but the red velvet heart that he holds ever so gently in his claws is made to personalised with your choice of initials (or can be left blank if you would prefer) making him truly one of a kind. And because you know exactly where he’s made you can give this gift knowing it’s sustainable and long lasting. We’re talking heirlooms here, not landfill.
This is a gift of the most stylish lobster around, and he’ll bring a playfulness and joy to any corner of a home. He’s made for Valentines Day, but he’s also made to look good on the back of that sofa every day of the year!
My inspiration for all my creatures comes from my own childhood obsessions with nature and birds, The Famous Five and the wild Dungeness coastline. And in recent years by the incredible island I now call home.

Your choice of initials can be as shown in the photo, or simply the initials of an individual (maximum of 3 initials).
The heart is only gently held in the lobsters claws and not attached.
When stretched out he measure approximately 57cm. He’s no shrimp!
The Lobster is made from a patchwork of different linens, cottons and corduroys. The combination may be slightly different to the image here, but they all have a similar look and feel.
His heart is sewn from 100% cotton velvet and stuffed with hypoallergenic polyester fibre stuffing.
His eyes are embroidered and hand sewn on.
His moustache is black wool felt and is hand sewn on.
He has no hard parts.
He is stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing but please note that his moustache is wool and therefore not hypoallergenic.
His t shirt is made from cotton jersey and is not removable (apparently because of his huge muscles).
Because he is made of a patchwork of fabrics it’s best to only spot wash him, he may nip if you try and put him in the washing machine.
