When I was younger I would have loved to own something like this so this really is me living the dream and the pleasure was all mine recreating this vintage dolls house.

I would say this example was made around the 1980s to 1990’s, and has really nice Georgian style window frames and a porch. I have simplified the look of it a little to add a contemporary twist; and decided to add a bespoke abstract design to the outside of the house in varying shades of pink, orange, green and blue; contrasting with teal windows and front door to create a really striking design.

I then used a selection of the colours on the outside to give this old house new life, with each room painted a different colour and colour blocked into different sections; I have also added collectable vintage dolls house furniture pieces to match the whole scheme.

The door opens and closes using a simple clasp, with the roof lifting up on hinges to reveal a hidden loft space to hide your secret things!

All the furniture in the photographs is included, each mini art pieces in themselves, including;

Please note that dolls house furniture has become quite collectable, I have sourced and included some really sweet upcycled pieces to become your heirlooms of the future; with the idea being that you can then begin collecting your own pieces too, to play around with as you choose.

This is definitely a show piece but personally I love the idea that this might be played with again and become a special treasure for future generations, it so deserves to be loved!
