Hi, I'm Anniken, the creative force and maker behind Orange Otter Design. Born out of a love for combining colour with the character of vintage furniture, I started Orange Otter in 2015. Shabby chic was not my look, I wanted something sharper, fresher, maybe it was my Scandinavian roots.
I have a natural love of clean lines, simple shapes and beautiful colour combinations and this is very much my signature style.
I love how colour can change how you feel and I love to help my customers make their home a beautiful reflection of who they are, filled with pieces that excite and ignite them. Why wouldn’t you surround yourself with things that make you smile?
As William Morris so famously put it: “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
