I work from a small studio, attached to our family home, in the heart of Derbyshire. Most mornings, Otto and I wake up early for a walk in the woods, then come back to paint.

When we first had Otto, a German Shorthaired Pointer, I made him into a Christmas Decoration, highlighting his special markings and the beauty of his character and Otto & Flow has grown from there.

My understanding and love of dogs comes out in my work. When we lost our first dog, Marley, I was heartbroken. When my friend gifted me a photo of Marley, that I had never seen before, it was truly one of the most thoughtful things anyone had ever done.

These are the times when you experience people at their most thoughtful and I wanted other people to feel the love that I felt at that time. Artisan and hand-painted from the heart, not digitally created, is the essence of Otto & Flow.
