Hi there! I go by Tori but will pretty much answer to anything. I’ve loved drawing and creating as long as I can remember, almost as long as I’ve adored all living things on our lovely planet. It took me a while to find a way to gel the two together but as soon as I did, the rest was history. Now I aim to bring joy into people’s lives through the twinkle of a painted animal’s eye, be it through a card sent by a friend, or a piece of art hung on the wall.

The story behind the business
Meet This Thursday

When I finished uni I couldn’t figure out where to go creatively. I started pulling together some of my doodles and little sketches to make into greetings cards, alongside bits of jewellery, prints that look nothing like what I do now and more! Gradually, playing with various mediums, I taught myself not to fear colour and learnt how to paint the way I do. Once I found gouache paints it all changed and I became obsessed with painting animals. I still feel like every painting gets better, and I learn more about my own technique every time. I don’t sketch them first, I go straight in, paint to paper and paint in as realistic a way as I can. I think this way allows them to have their own personalities, it seems to appear as I add the glint to their eyes! I still make my paintings into cards and prints but have also extended into other exciting products.
