Hi, I'm Ysanne, a former journalist whose love of words has inspired my ceramics adventure.

My experience in homes journalism definitely gave me a taste for all things beautiful and moving from London to leafy Surrey a few years ago turned out to be just the first step in an exhilarating and rather unexpected journey.

Looking for a new adventure, I joined a pottery class, fell in love with playing with clay and it's fair to say that small step has eventually taken my life in a new and exhilarating direction. Inspired by my years writing about beautiful homes, I've now swapped paper and print for earthenware and glazes and I specialise in cheeky but useful hand-built homewares to raise a smile, whatever the occasion.
