Towards better things, through adversity, to the stars...
Our enchanting spinner pendant is here to remind you that the night is always darkest before the dawn. A moon against the night sky on one side, the words Ad Astra Per Aspera, Latin for through adversity to the stars, grounds us in the reality that life is often far from perfect. But just like the moon, we are never stuck in one phase, moments will pass.
Turn the pendant over to reveal brighter days ahead. Our radiant sun beams the words Ad Meloria (towards better things), bringing endless possibilities with each breaking of the dawn.
Styling note: There are 4 possible ways to wear the pendant- moon left, moon right, sun up & sun down. Ensure the position of the sun is facing upwards when facing away from the body, this way your sun will always fall in the correct position as you spin it when worn.

Material: 22ct vermeil (a thick 2.5 micron coating of 22ct gold electroplated onto a base of sterling silver*). Blue meena (traditional Rajasthani enamel)
*Pendant is recycled, chain and clasp are not recycled.

This pendant has been carefully crafted by a small team of marginalised artisans displaced from West Bengal, who have found sustainable livelihoods through their skill in making beautiful pieces like these.
They are proudly certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation.
Each piece comes packaged in a soft organic pouch, which has been lovingly made by some of Jaipur’s most vulnerable women, who are bettering their lives through the income from the block printing, tassel making and stitching of these very pouches. No two are the same, each one beautiful in its imperfections.
PLANET FRIENDLY PACKAGING
Packaging is mindfully thought through to be kind to the planet.
In addition to our organic cotton jewellery pouches, your jewellery will come pacakged with tree-free recycled cotton paper care tags, soy based, compostable tissue paper and a recyclable eco postal box made from certified sustainable sources. Even our embossed stickers are wood-free and completely biodegradable.
To help keep your jewellery looking lovely, each piece comes with a soft branded jewellery cloth.
