The Artisan 03 Sighthound collar brings luxury and lasting design for the modern dog owner who appreciates the ultimate in quality and style for their hounds, perfect for city and country walking or for special occasions.
This fully lined hound collar is crafted using premium Italian vegetable-tanned leathers and hand stitched with beautiful goatskin lining for comfort and finished with quality brassware.
All the products from Seldom Found are completely handmade in a small studio in Somerset that prides itself on slow fashion with artisanal techniques using the most premium sustainable products for the customer.

XXS - 20-26cm -1.5cm - 4cm width
XS -25-31cm - 2 cm - 4.5 cm width
S -30-38cm - 2 cm- 5 cm width
M -36-44cm - 2.5cm - 6cm width
L -42-52cm - 2.5 cm -7 cm width
For Sighthound collars, measure under the jawline round to behind the ears for a measurement with a soft measuring tape, this will be the size of collar you need. Try to. pick a size where your measurement is in the centre, ie if your hound's neck measures 39cm, pick Medium (36-44cm)
Leather used for this product is Walpier Buttero vegetable-tanned leather from a world renowned Italian Tannery. All leather is a by-product of the meat market. The lining is Italian vegetable-tanned goatskin from Italy. Vegetable-tanned leathers use no chemicals, only natural products to colour the leathers making them sustainable and degradable sending no nasty chemicals back into the ground. The leather will naturally tan in the sun and the elements which is a beautiful feature of vegetable tanning. Leather is not intended for swimming in the water. If leather gets wet lay the collar out flat to dry naturally. Leather can be cleaned with saddle soap and nourished with a leather conditioner like Renapur Leather Balsam which is what i use in the studio.
Threads used are quality Linen threads and all products are hand-stitched to order. Glues for sticking lining is a water based Eco leather glue and product burnishing is finished with Tokonole Burnishing gum.
Buckles and hardware are bought from a UK Supplier.
