Description

Limited edition lino print of fresh line caught mackerel on a quayside...

Limited edition lino print of fresh line caught mackerel on a quayside.

Inspired by growing up in Cornwall and a gentleman down the road who would go out fishing for the day and leave a few fish for my family on our doorstep. I imagine the quay looked a bit like this when he came back in from sea.

Limited edition of 50.

Printed onto the finest Somerset paper using a beautiful French grey colour ink.

Variations do occur in each print as they are printed individually by hand on my Gunning etching press.

Paper size approx 15" x 11" & print size approx 12"x8".

The joy of printmaking for me is rooted in the traditional tools and time honoured techniques that create beautiful, affordable art for every wall.

Each Lino Lord print is entirely handmade by me - from the first sketch, to inking the lino and turning the wheel of the press. I enjoy the honest, analogue process and no two prints are ever the same.

I also love to celebrate my Cornish heritage in my coastal designs, as well as homegrown produce and fun ‘retro chic’ classics.
