Bring nature's symbolism into your home with this hand-embroidered snake design. This piece was hand stitched by myself in my studio by the sea.
“May we shed with grace, may we heal at a gentle pace and through it all may we breathe from a joyous space.” Not my words, but the snake shows us that to shed is to survive, a beautiful reminder of renewal and transformation.
The design is embroidered on calico with DMC floss and mounted in an Elbesee wooden hoop. It features a green snake surrounded by blue leaves, pink flowers, and small gold and blue bead details. The wooden hoop has a brass screw adjustment at the top.
A one-off piece of textile art, ready to hang on your wall.
