Care instructions: Hand wash in cold water with a detergent suitable for wool. Lay flat to dry. Do not wring.

I am a hand-knitter and pattern designer who is inspired by the sea. My father grew up on a a small island off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada, where my grandfather caught lobsters.
While I currently live in Brighton, UK, I designed these lobster toys while I was living in Newfoundland myself. These have just the right about of lobster detail, down to the eight walking legs and tiny pinchers :) They are a great size – perfect for cuddling or even using as a neck pillow (which I do often!).
To hand-knit these lobsters at the highest quality I've partnered with Niko International – a sustainable and socially responsible artisan collective in Peru that adheres to the Global Organic Textile Standard and is a provisional member of the World Fair Trade Organization. They are an amazing group of women who knit beautifully using local alpaca wool.
