Ceramic wall hanging Sun, made by cutting out a circular piece of a slab of clay. Hand painted with slip and underglaze whilst the clay is leather hard. I've added some texture by pressing small shapes into the clay. Once dry the sun hanging is bisque fired and then covered in lovely shiny clear glaze and high fired to 1260 degrees in the kiln.
The Sun has a small hole on the top which can be used to hang it from a hook or nail or some rope can be added to make the Sun longer and hang the rope from a nail or hook.
