Bird inspired Christmas decorations - featuring owls, swans, swirly birds and blue birds.
All hand cut from slabs of white stoneware clay which was rolled out by me. The shapes are cut out with paper stencils to guide me and once the little shapes are leather hard I smoothed out the edges, painted in the bird details and made a hole at the top of each decoration.
Each one has been twice fired, bisque and then high fired in a glaze.

Sent in lots of protective wrap with a tracked Royal Mail Service.
Measuring from between 6cm and 8cm these make lovely little tree decorations that can be kept for years to come. The can also be used all year round in your home as they are lovely and simple, with a soft matt glaze.
