Lovely handmade wheel thrown espresso mugs, perfect size for affogato too! Inspired by a blue and white delft ware and sixties flower design.
Hand painted at green ware stage with underglazes. Bisque fired and then high fired with a lovely clear shiny glaze to allow the illustrated flowers to show through. I’ve used stoneware clay which is high fired to 1260 degrees in the kiln, which makes these mugs fit for purpose and functional.
Each mug is slightly different in that they are all hand painted individually but with the same flowers.
