A round ceramic vase inspired by Dorset’s coastline, this Large Round Ceramic Vase by Jenny Hopps Pottery reflects the peaceful meeting of sea and sky.
For those who love gathering flowers from their garden or creating thoughtful arrangements, this vase is a companion. Its wide opening and rounded form allow stems to fall naturally, making it ideal for both loose, handpicked bunches and artfully styled displays. Whether filled with vibrant blooms or soft, dried foliage, it transforms simple stems into something unique.
Inspired by happy childhood trips to Lulworth Cove in Dorset, these vases encapsulate the ebb and flow of waves through their dynamic glazes. My work is crafted at my home studio in West Berkshire, UK. Each is truly unique and may differ very slightly from the photo as each glaze will melt creating its own unique pattern.
Each piece is crafted from stoneware clay either by hand, by liquid slip casting, or on the pottery wheel, then dried and trimmed to shape. All work is bisque fired in the kiln, then glazed and fired a second time. I then sand and clean each piece prior to sending out.
