Our oversized velvet floor cushion is one of those pieces that finds its own place in a room and somehow always looks right. Footrest. Tray table. Reading nook. Extra seating when twelve people arrive for dinner. And for dogs who have, let's be honest, better taste than most people — a luxury bed at exactly the right height.
Handmade in London at a generous 60 x 60 x 30cm — deep enough to actually sink into, wide enough for a medium dog to stretch out on. Choose your two velvet colours and your style: contrast piping for something refined, full colour block for something that makes a real statement. Either way, it will be the piece everyone asks about.
Here's the clever bit — it vacuum packs flat for postage. What arrives in a surprisingly manageable parcel expands into the full, glorious cushion once it's out of the packaging. No wrestling with oversized boxes.
The cover removes via a double zip along the base — machine washable, wipe clean, and comes back looking brand new every time. Which, for a floor cushion that doubles as a dog bed, is not a small thing. Filled with a heavyweight recycled poly fibre — sustainably minded and satisfyingly plump. The fill will compress a little with use over time, which only makes it more yours.
