The glass jar can then be enjoyed afterwards as a lantern or vase.
We wrap and tie the Hyacinth root ball in natural moss with jute twine, all 100% compostable so you can pop straight in a container for next year after they have finished flowering.

The bulbs needs a little fresh water, a light spray as the moss ball bulbs arrive and will flower quicker inside in a warm room or window sill than if kept in a conservatory for instance. Then simply place in a small amount of water every 3-4 days to allow a small sip, or give it a gentle spray.

They are wrapped in waxed paper as they arrive but a bit of debris may shed as they are unwrapped.
