Keep our kitchen utensils to hand with this handmade jar that makes a wonderful addition to anyone’s home.
A retro design by illustrator Beatrice von Preussen, that Katie makes in her Kent studio
W 105 mm D105mm x H 190mm 2.pt
All items are earthenware, cast using a fine semi-porcelain slip, that is mixed on site using a ‘secret recipe’ passed on many years ago, under the condition it’s never shared!
Wash before use.
Finished with transparent food safe glaze.
The skilled team at Fine Ceramic Transfers in Stoke-on-Trent, transform Beatrice von Preussen illustrations into the highest quality screen-printed transfers, which Katie then hand applies to each glazed item before returning to the kiln for the third and final firing. At 1060oc this temperature allows the transfer to sink into the glaze, forming a durable protective layer over Beatrice artwork to prevent fading with use.
Dish washer and microwave safe, just to make life a little easier.
Please note these items are handmade in small batches therefore there will be some variation in colour.
To ensure your item(s) arrived safely they will be packed in bubble wrap, nestled in a protective packing material in a recycled cardboard box.
The delivery options for this item are listed below (if it doesn't state 'Express delivery' then that option is not available for this product). As soon as you place your order, this small business will spring into action, get it ready and send it out... (and you can feel wonderful for supporting them).

I love making, I can’t help it, my hands get restless when I’m not. That’s how Katie Brinsley Ceramics started, with my hands. They momentarily let me down as my friends treasured butter dish slipped out of them smashing on her floor. This inspired me to make the best possible replacement! I chose slip casting for its beautiful clean lines and tactile smooth finish that makes an everyday object a delight to use. I haven’t stopped making my ceramic tableware since.
