London love hearts series is inspired both by my love of butterflies which come in all shapes, colours and sizes and never cease to amaze me, and also by the graffiti and urban street art of London, Shoreditch...

London love hearts series is inspired both by my love of butterflies which come in all shapes, colours and sizes and never cease to amaze me, and also by the graffiti and urban street art of London, Shoreditch.
Collecting and recording phots of spray paint love hearts, I wanted to combine them with my digitally painted butterflies symbolising my love for nature. Graffiti artists often use the canvas of the streets to convey messages to raise awareness for the environment and plight of our natural world. These are unique hand finished individual artworks.

Need to know

This is a one of a kind, printed, using archival pigment inks on German Etching Hahnemühle watercolour paper, hand finished with acrylic glazes and varnish and UV protection.
This is one of a kind framed in a bespoke, hand painted, 20cm in a circular frame and comes ready to hang. Hand signed on the back.
