They are covered with a selection of assorted Japanese and Nepalese printed papers, and cotton and linen cloth. They have the structure and proportions of hardback books in miniature, but are just large enough to write a few lines on each page.
Each journal in the set has 188 plain, blank, off-white pages made of 100gsm, FSC certified, acid-free paper.
They are hand-bound using linen thread, board, Japanese and Nepalese paper, and cotton and linen book cloth.

I combine traditional bookbinding techniques with paper making, calligraphy and letterpress printing to create handcrafted paper goods for dreamers and storytellers.
I am inspired by the layers of stories and memories that make up our world, in books, maps, buildings and landscapes, and the crafts behind treasured objects.
My work seeks to reconnect with a childhood magic of tales and make-believe, and to bring more imagination and escapism into daily life.
