Hello - I’m Kath Leone, a contemporary artist and textile designer from Cape Town, South Africa.

I create limited edition screen prints inspired by nature. These are imaginative scenes and pseudo botanical compositions featuring plants, insects, animals, fungi and sea life.

Whether free-diving in Cape Town’s magical kelp forests or sketching mushrooms and mosses under a shady tree canopy in the English countryside, I am repeatedly drawn to the detailed richness of life in these varied and awe-inspiring forest environments.
