Muti Spiced Kraut is a cut above our regular Kraut in terms of flavour profile & complexity - if you like that sort of thing, we do! Flavoured with cumin, fresh turmeric root, fresh coriander & just a hint of Guajillo chilli, it is more spiced than spicy. Absolutely moreish & so handy to have at the lunch or dinner table because it makes getting that extra bit of goodness in so easy, not to mention delicious.
Superb in salads & burgers & just divine with oily fish like salmon or mackerel. In fact you can have it on the side of just about any dish & it works particularly well with richer foods as the fresh acidity cuts through fattiness, making a roast dinner for example, that little bit lighter.
Muti Live Ferments are shipped in recyclable stand-up-pouches to avoid leaks & breakages associated with the glass jars when under internal pressure due to the live beneficial bacteria producing CO2 during the magical fermentation process.
Ingredients: Cabbage, carrot, spring onion, garlic, sea salt, coriander, turmeric root, Guajillo chilli, cumin seeds & black pepper.
Keep refrigerated and use within 6 weeks of opening.
At Muti we do not use any of the 14 regulated allergens as ingredients in any of our products. That said, some of our suppliers do handle such ingredients & so we cannot guarantee that they are trace-free.
Muti ferments are delivered in fully recyclable plastic pouches containing at least 330g of ferment. Once finished rinse the pouch out with water & recycle with your soft plastics recycling provider (some councils do not offer this service, but most supermarkets do).
