A handwritten personal note always lifts the spirit. To feel like someone cares enough to take the time to write to you will always make your day.
These beautiful hand-stitched notes are a wonderful way to do just that, to reach out and show someone you care, to tell them you’re proud of them, or to say how much they mean to you.
With a choice of four different backgrounds (pink, blue, yellow and blue, or lined paper), each note is customised with your personal message and presented in a handmade envelope which can also have a personalised message on the front.
Your personalised message can be up to 24 words long, and the message on the envelope can be up to 8 words. Please be clear in the box below which message is for which piece. Your handstitched note will be made to order by Jane at her home studio, using grey stitching for the handwriting.
Lined Note Paper
Each letter measures approximately 11 x 8cm and comes presented in a hand stitched envelope, sewn with a blue thread and closed with a button (buttons will vary, but will be in a similar style to those shown in the photos).

All my wording is stitched by free hand embroidery, which uses a standard domestic sewing machine and I guide the fabric around with my hands to write the words.
I'm completely self taught and it's taken many many hours of practice to get my writing so neat, in fact I think my stitched writing is neater than my handwriting!
