An original oil painting featuring a plaice, by renowned artist Jac Scott, on a vintage cake plate made by Royal Albert Crown China, England. This particular plate was chosen by the artist as its squarish form echoed the fish's shape whilst the gilt pattern reflected the fins.

These simple still life studies look great on their own or even better in a group. Building a plate-scape is simple as they are ready to hang with a brass plated hanger, so super quick and easy to attach to your wall. Alternatively, you could place the plate on a special stand.
