There are many myths and superstitions surrounding bees. They have been believed to be the messengers of the gods, and a german folktale relates that bees were created to supply wax for church candles. There is also a Lancashire rhyme that says it is good luck to dream of bees:

'Happy the man who dreaming sees
The little humble busy bees
Fly humming round their hive.'

George Frederick

George Frederick, is a British jewellery and accessory designer, who’s design philosophy aligns itself very much with that of hedonism, combining, fantasy, history, romanticism and the natural world. His work, however, doesn’t always present itself in the most conventional forms. The George Frederick universe is a careful curation of these very things, encouraging one to lose oneself to fashion and art.
