Need to Know

Made from recycled, handprinted 300 gsm paper (which is a really sturdy cardstock).
All materials and processes are vegan.
Varnished with a UV protective lacquer.
All he needs is a tickle with a feather/microfibre duster every now and then.
The raven 38 cm from break to tail, 15 cm wide at his shoulders.
On his tree stump, this piece measures 31 cm tall.

This large, freestanding paper sculpture depicts the king of the corvids, the raven, and he is one of a kind. He is made with handprinted papers in deep black shades. Metallic lustres have been added to the paper, so that his feathers have a gentle metall...

This large, freestanding paper sculpture depicts the king of the corvids, the raven, and he is one of a kind. He is made with handprinted papers in deep black shades. Metallic lustres have been added to the paper, so that his feathers have a gentle metallic hue of green and gold, in different areas of his body. In dim light he looks black, but he shimmers in the sunshine, aided in part by his UV protective lacquer, which has a satin sheen. His beak is dark grey and his eyes are black. His body is completely covered in layers of hand cut feathers. The making process ensures that he is one of a kind. He balances on two paper wrapped steel wire feet, and he rocks gently when you press down on his beak, designed so that he's hard to topple over! This distinguished gentleman would certainly make a statement on your desk or mantlepiece.

He perches on a handmade tree stump adorned with hydrangea blooms, which are mottled green and white, with just a little bit of pink.
