A handmade paper sculpture of a goldcrest bird perched on a wreath of crisp white hydrangea blooms. Bring your love of nature into your home with this unique woodland wall art.
The goldcrest is made entirely from recycled paper, covered with hand-printed paper feathers in soft green, cream, black and yellow. I use traditional mono screen printing to mark the paper, which ensures each bird is one of a kind. Metallic lustres give the feathers a gentle shimmer, and the sculpture is finished with a UV protective lacquer. Her pose, patterns and colour palette are unique.
The goldcrest is the UK's smallest bird, a widespread resident most likely to be spotted in conifer woodland. Females have a yellow tuft on their head, while males have an orange stripe.
