Celebrate your love of the majestic owl with this one-of-a-kind Long Eared Owl Sculpture on a Floral Wreath Wall Art. This handmade wall hanging depicts a long eared owl, made from hand printed papers in golden and dark brown shades. He has a pale golden face with black feather markings and is made entirely from paper, with metallic lustres in the paint to give his feathers depth. My printmaking process ensures he is the only bird with his particular colour palette, pattern and textures; he is one of a kind.
He perches on a wreath adorned with white and yellow tree blossom flowers in two different sizes. I make a variety of bird designs to adorn your wall, with lots of different flowers and foliage. This woodland wall sculpture measures around 30 cm wide and tall (12 inches). The owl is 17 cm (7 inches) tall. Owls are a particular favourite because I think they are such delightful creatures.
Their long ear tufts are called 'plumicorns', which is one of my favourite words. Long eared owls are residents to the whole of the UK, but they tend to travel to the South of England for the winter months, as do many of their European pals.
