Handmade ceramic cup with customised choice of sculpted miniature dog sitting on the handle. Each mug is made to order and has red or green hand painted gingham check and hearts along with tiny pawprints left by the cheeky pup.
These are lovely gift idea for any dog owner whose pooch can keep them company whilst they have a lovely cup of tea or latte for the coffee lover.
Each cup is hand made from start to finish from a ball of white earthenware clay, so may vary slightly from the photographs, as no two are identical and have an individual hand made personality.
Each cup is thrown in small batches on my potter's wheel, then trimmed and have a hand pulled handle and hand sculpted dog with pawprints applied prior to the first firing in my kiln. The cup is then painted and glazed before the final firing takes place.
There is a making time of up to 7 weeks before dispatch for these cups so please allow plenty of time.
Cup diameter 9.5 cm approximately
Cup height 9 cm approximately
Each cup has a handmade quality so vary slightly in form and may differ slightly from the photographs. Please indicate which breed and colouring you would like when you order.
Hand washing is recommended.
Each cup is glazed using a food safe glaze.

Hello, I'm Lucy, the face behind lucyandjaneceramics.
I design and make whimsical pottery in my garden studio including tableware, decor and sculpture. My inspiration comes from the world around me, from the flowers in the garden to little creatures that inhabit the green space. A ball of clay is where it all begins, meaning my items have a hand produced quality that can't be found with mass produced ceramics. My aim is to make customers smile with each quirky detail.
