Description

This owl design really is wonderfully atmospheric. The round sconces in particular have the look of a full moon or a hole in a tree and can add a really stunning focal point to a gallery wall. They are a striking artwork by day and a dramatic feature at night.

A beautiful candle holder for your home, made from a vintage cake tin that has been cleaned and polished but will show some signs of it's history of use. The beauty of the slightly tarnished metal adds something really special to these candle sconces.

Need to know

These candle holders are a great use of old bakeware and feature vintage cake tins with small patty tin candle plates and a battery powered votive candle.

The patty tin is held in place on the curved surfaces using strong, neodymium magnets.

These decorative candle holders are designed for use with a battery powered candle, as supplied. Please do not use with a real flame as the metal could become extremely hot.

Each candle sconce is a one-of-a-kind piece and you will receive your choice of the items shown in these photos.

Dark tone, round - 24cm diameter and 11cm deep - wall hanging
Silver tone, round - 26cm in diameter and 8cm deep - wall hanging
Square - 24cm square and 8cm deep - free standing

My work is distinctive and made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. By using vintage imagery and a rustic aesthetic, my pieces really suit homes that combine inherited pieces, random collections and secondhand finds.

Many of my materials are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.
