nibs etc. are passionate about food and emotional about food waste. Wasted food costs families and economies billions in lost resources and nutrients and is one of the biggest contributors to climate change. So nibs etc. are on a mission to eliminate food waste by transforming these lost nutrients into deliciously high in fibre and always refined sugar/artificial ingredient/preservative-free award-winning snacks.
What is upcycling? nibs etc.’s granola range is made from British apple pulp, the leftover from making apple juice or cider; stems, seeds, core and all. Like all natural produce, apples are seasonal. This means different apples are pressed at different times of the year, so each batch of nibs etc. may look and taste slightly different. Changing like the seasons, but always delicious & nutritious. Apple pulp is naturally high in fibre and low in sugar. After being rescued from the manufacturer in Kent, it is then slow baked in batches in England with carefully sourced, high quality ingredients to create moreish, filling and not too sweet granola. Upcycled ingredients just make sense, for you, your family and the planet. Feel good about your food rituals.
Outer box is 100% recyclable card, printed with water-based inks.
Toss the film in your food waste/bin.

London
Hi, my name is Chloë. I'm obsessed with food and emotional about food waste. nibs etc. makes delicious and nutritious, upcycled snacks from industry byproducts that normally get thrown away, to fight food waste. Because food waste is totally nuts, we are changing daily rituals, nibble by nibble.
At nibs etc. we're on a mission to design 'waste' out of our dictionaries. We celebrate nutritious yet misunderstood ingredients – byproducts – such as British apple juice pulp which is naturally high in fibre, and marry them with high quality ingredients. Food waste is one of the biggest contributors to climate change, according to Project Drawdown. By upcycling ingredients that otherwise get thrown away, we not only tackle the environmental issues but also the socio-economic challenges posed by wasteful supply chains; by making sure valuable nutrients such as fibre and protein are being used to feed humans, and not animals, energy or landfill.
